Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8
Every year, Samsung expands its Galaxy Z Flip series with a new model. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 was unveiled on July 22, 2026, and is packed with innovations. As the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, it builds on the familiar flip design and brings numerous improvements. Look forward to an even slimmer and lighter design, an edge-to-edge display, and a foldable 6.9-inch AMOLED screen. This makes everyday tasks even easier while enjoying the benefits of a foldable smartphone. Below, you'll learn what the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 has to offer and why it's an excellent choice.
processor
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 is powered by the high-performance Samsung Exynos 2600 processor. This allows you to effortlessly switch between apps, play demanding games smoothly, and benefit from fast performance in all your daily tasks. Thanks to 12 GB of RAM, multitasking is also seamless, so you can switch between different apps without any lag. Looking for even more power for demanding applications? Then take a look at the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8.
Display and design
At just 6.1 mm thick and weighing only 180 grams, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 is the thinnest and lightest Galaxy Z Flip yet. Thanks to its IP48 certification, the smartphone is water-resistant, though not completely dustproof. The redesigned edge-to-edge display extends almost to the very edge of the phone, providing more space for widgets, notifications, and apps without having to unfold the device. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, making it more resistant to scratches and impacts. When you unfold the Galaxy Z Flip 8, you'll find a large 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. This ensures exceptionally smooth animations when scrolling, playing games, and watching videos.
Practical cameras
Capture every moment in stunning quality with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8. The 50 MP main camera works together with the 12 MP ultra-wide camera and the ProVisual Engine to take detailed photos with natural colors. Thanks to the Portrait Engine with AI Bokeh, portrait photos have a natural background blur, making people stand out even more. Your photos will look professionally taken and can be shared instantly with friends, family, or on social media.
Videos that move with you
Recording videos is even easier with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8. With My Follow Cam, you can choose which person or subject should be the focus, even after recording. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 automatically adjusts the framing, making your videos look professionally shot. Ideal for clips you want to share directly on social media. On the go? Horizontal Lock ensures your videos stay steady and level, even when you're moving. Capture spontaneous moments without a tripod or complicated setup.
Even in the dark, every detail remains visible.
Beautiful moments don't just happen during the day. Thanks to Nightography Video, you can record sharp videos with natural colors and less image noise, even in low light. The ProVisual Engine analyzes each shot and automatically reduces distracting noise. This ensures that faces, light sources, and backgrounds remain clearly recognizable. Whether you're out at night or strolling through the city, you can capture your memories in impressive quality, without any manual adjustments.
Galaxy AI is ready for you
Galaxy AI is fully integrated into the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and supports you in your everyday life. Using FlexWindow, you can open supported apps, make calls, or use convenient Galaxy AI features without unfolding your smartphone. Want to check your calendar, make a call, or quickly find information while you're on the go? With just a few swipes, everything is right at your fingertips. This allows you to complete many tasks faster and more conveniently.
Battery & Charging
With its 4,300 mAh battery, you'll easily get through the day. Whether you're watching videos, taking photos, navigating, or sending lots of messages – the battery keeps up with your daily activities. This means you'll need to search for a power outlet less often when you're out and about. And if the battery does run low, you can quickly recharge the Galaxy Z Flip 8 with its 25W fast charging function. Alternatively, you can also conveniently charge the smartphone wirelessly.
Your day clearly organized
Now Brief gives you a quick overview of the most important things every morning. At a glance, you can see your calendar, notifications, and the weather. With Semantic Search, you can also find relevant information from your apps and notifications. For example, ask where your package is or when your next appointment starts. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 provides the right answer without you having to search for it yourself.
Even smarter together with the Galaxy ecosystem
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 works seamlessly with other Galaxy devices. Connect it to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 or Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, for example, and keep track of notifications and your health and fitness data at all times. With the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 or Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, you can listen to music wirelessly, make calls with high-quality sound, and switch seamlessly between different Galaxy devices.
Are you looking for a foldable smartphone with a larger display for even more multitasking? Then the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 or the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra are excellent choices. If you opt for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, you'll get a compact foldable that perfectly combines innovation, user-friendliness, and flexibility.

was Kleines ganz Groß
